You will have the opportunity to discover and advocate solutions to help countries grow sustainably as an integral member of the FreeBalance Strategy & Innovation team. This position focuses on product and services innovation to help governments improve governance outcomes.  The unique FreeBalance social enterprise mission requires a customer-centric approach. Main Responsibilities:

    • Analyze the public sector market and engage public finance experts to uncover government problems and opportunities
    • Build product and services vision cases, market requirements, and go-to-market strategies
    • Lead marketing, sales, services and support process research and improvement
    • Develop and maintain personas and scenarios
    • Develop training materials
    • Contribute to shared knowledge repositories
    • Lead company and customer workshops using methods like design thinking, problem-driven iterative adaptation, and six-thinking hats brainstorming
    • Assist in company proposals through developing answers to complex questions and developing supporting collateral
    • Assist in competitive intelligence
    • Assist in market sensing and market sizing
    • Assist in annual customer meetings
    • Contribute research and material for content marketing
    • Develop sales kits

Qualifications:

    • University degree, college diploma, or equivalent in:  business,  commerce, marketing, computer science, information technology or related fields
    • Proven relevant experience in areas such as: government accounting, procurement, tax administration, treasury or human resources;  product marketing or management; pre-sales, proposal management, or consulting
    • Proven relevant experience in areas such as:  public sector, NGOs, international development, economics, political science, financial services
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Other languages are considered an asset in our global business
    • Exceptional research and analytical skills
    • Ability to embrace continuous learning with a  proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex topics
    • Knowledge of GovTech, Public Financial Management (PFM), country development, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) are assets
    • Ability to travel internationally is required
