Given our exciting and progressive growth plans,  we are looking for an exceptional HR & Payroll Specialist to come and join our global business.

Reporting directly to the VP of Accounting & Controller, and working collaboratively with the Payroll team and external partners, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, maintaining accurate financial and HR records, preparing payroll-related entries, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

What you will be doing

    • Collaboration – Partner closely with other departments to deliver a seamless experience for all stakeholders.
    • Payroll Coordination – Manage payroll processes with external providers (e.g., Deel Payroll, PayFit in the UK, and TriNet in the US).
    • Salary Calculations – Prepare salary calculations for our in-house payroll in the UAE and KSA (a straightforward process where gross equals net).
    • Controls & Analysis – Perform variance analysis and implement payroll controls to ensure correct payslip generation.
    • Projects & Improvements – Contribute to payroll-related projects, such as process automation and system integrations.
    • HR Data Management – Maintain and update our HR system (HiBob) with information on new joiners, leavers, salary adjustments, and role changes.
    • Leave Management – Oversee holiday accruals and calculate compensated leave using HRIS data.
    • Accounting Entries – Prepare and post payroll-related journal entries in the accounting system (note: Deel payroll entries are automated).
    • Contracts & Templates – Draft payroll-related contracts and maintain jurisdiction-specific templates with support from internal and external legal counsel.
    • HR Support – Assist with a wide range of internal and external HR-related matters.

What we are looking for

    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or finance. Experience with payroll software or HRIS is a plus.
    • Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis; familiarity with other financial or payroll tools is beneficial.
    • Proactive mindset with strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and keen attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while handling multiple tasks.
    • Understanding of data confidentiality and compliance with payroll regulations and labor laws.

    • Optional
    • Payroll & HRIS Platforms: Proficient in HiBob (HR database management), Deel (global payroll and contractor management), and Sage (payroll processing and reporting).
    • Global Jurisdiction Knowledge: Extensive experience managing payroll, compliance, and HR processes across US, Canada, Spain, France, Netherlands, UK, Ireland, Poland, Kosovo, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

Interview Process

    • Screen Call: Video call with member of the Talent Team - 20 minutes
    • 1st Stage: Video call/in-person meeting with the Payroll Team - 30 minutes
    • 2nd Stage/Final Stage: Video call/in-person meeting with the Payroll Team and VP of Accounting & Controller

    • We aim to complete the entire interview process and deliver feedback within 4 weeks
