ABOUT THE ROLE
The SEO/SEM Manager will lead, develop and manage the day-to-day SEO and SEM strategy for Freshly. You will be part of our Acquisition Marketing team and report into the Director of Acquisition Marketing. The key objective of the role is to increase qualified traffic through paid and non-paid search (Google, Bing,Yahoo) in order to acquire new customers for Freshly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Build SEO strategy and work with Digital Product & Engineering to implement
    • Clearly communicate technical requirements to both developers and non-technical stakeholders
    • Platform management, direction setting on key content development, tech implementation and link building
    • Work with tech to assure that the proper title tags, alt text, and general technical implementation is SEO/SEM friendly
    • Update, maintain and submit sitemaps to search engines
    • Back-link building with Google best practices in mind
    • Lead SEM strategy and day-to-day execution
    • Identify the keyword, and keyword phrases, to be targeted with the goal of page one rankings
    • Perform day-to-day campaign optimization and management for Google, Bing, Yahoo
    • Keyword research, analysis, bid management, budget allocation
    • Optimize copy and landing pages for paid search engine marketing campaigns
    • Ads, keyword, ad groups and landing page development
    • On-site and off-site optimization recommendations and implementation
    • Competitive analysis and market research
    • Set expectations and roadmap to achieve SEO/SEM KPIs to drive qualified traffic and acquisitions
    • Daily, weekly, monthly campaign analytics, performance and reporting
    • Manage campaigns towards CPA and acquisition KPIs

ABOUT YOU

    •  Bachelor's degree in Marketing or relative major preferred
    • 3-5 years experience in SEO/SEM
    • 3+ years experience within an eCommerce, direct to consumer, or Agency setting
    • Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
    • Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across all major search engines
    • Strong Excel skills (Vlookup & Pivot Tables)
    • High-level proficiency with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics and Google AdWords)
    • AdWords Editor or Kenshoo, Marin or AdLens
    • SEMRush or other keyword analytics tools
    • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
    • Ability to collect data, generate SEO/SEM reports, analyze trends, identify strategic recommendations and present them in a logical manner
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
