What will you be doing?

    • Partner with engineering teams to architect their services for scale
    • Scale our systems to handle 10x growth e.g. database sharing to handle customers with 10,000+ users
    • Own our platform that empowers engineering teams to build and run their services seemlessly
    • Own our infrastructure components to support scale, reliability and performance(e.g. k8s clusters, Elasticsearch clusters, etc)
    • Debug and fix app and low level issues impacting our infrastructure
    • Build tooling for distributed, cell-based architecture

What skills and experience do you need?

    • Customer mindset first: We are a product focused company with an emphasis on the customer.
    • 5+ years of industry experience building highly available, large-scale distributed systems at a large-scale internet service
    • 2+ years of working on software systems built atop of Cloud-based environment
    • Proficiency in a high-level language: NodeJS, Java, Python, Go…
    • Willingness to partner with product teams and work in the backend codebase written in NodeJS/Typescript
    • Strong track record of launching and delivering projects of significant complexity and high level of ambiguity
    • Experience architecting, deploying and operating asynchronous work queues, high-volume storage systems, high-throughput systems
    • Experience deploying and operating asynchronous work queues, high-volume storage systems, high-throughput systems
    • Understand the trade-offs in employing different engineering solutions to a problem, valuing pragmatism over idealism
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment
    • Full professional English proficiency


    • Experience with AWS
    • Experience as a tech-lead of an infrastructure team
    • Experience running large Kubernetes clusters
