We are looking for an HR Generalist to help us provide a fantastic experience for Fronteers across Latin America and the United States. You will be responsible for executing a wide range of HR tasks, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and fostering a positive employee experience. To succeed in the role, you must have proven experience in Chilean / LATAM HR administration, be a thorough and versatile professional, enjoy solving problems, and work well in a small, cross-functional, dynamic team.

Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.

What will you be doing?

    • Deliver an outstanding experience to LATAM and US Fronteers by serving as a primary point of contact for HR inquiries and support.
    • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, and HRIS (BambooHR) management for LATAM and US Fronteers.
    • Assist with HR administration tasks across LATAM and the United States, including benefits enrollment, leave administration, payroll processing, and HR reporting.
    • Coordinate with external vendors as needed for payroll, benefits administration, and other HR services, currently utilizing Deel as our Employer of Record (EOR) in Chile.
    • International mobility: support future and current Fronteers to obtain work authorization with the help of external partners.
    • Ensure compliance with requirements from a People Operations perspective and applicable regulations.
    • Manage data integrity in databases, data libraries (Google Drive, Intranet, etc.) and systems (BambooHR) and provide ad hoc reports to management.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with Front’s company objectives.
    • Lead or take an active part in projects related to any HR topic critical for our success (Diversity, Equity,Inclusion, and Belonging; talent management, employer branding, etc.).
    • Create a strong company culture in LATAM by planning and executing events and other culture initiatives.

Requirements

    • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required, both written and verbal.
    • Strong understanding of labor laws and regulations in Latin America, with proven experience in Chilean labor law required.
    • 3+ years of experience in HR Administration as an HR Operations Specialist, HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, or a similar position, preferably in a multinational company.
