Our goal is to become a trusted global leader in agricultural technology, coffee, and hemp products using our innovative Clean Stock nurseries, quality breeding programs, and contemporary seed testing and production.  

Primary role will be to support the CEO and manage the office. The successful candidate will be a key member of a fast-paced and collaborative start-up agricultural sciences company.

Responsibilities & Duties

    • Prepare and oversee complex travel arrangements (national and international) for CEO
    • Prepare all expense reports for CEO on a regular basis
    • Attend meetings for note taking purposes, as required by CEO
    • Heavy calendar management for CEO, requiring excellent and professional communications with both internal and external people
    • Prepare high-level correspondence, presentations, and various other materials
    • Handle and have access to highly confidential and sensitive materials
    • Coordinate quarterly BoD meetings, and other executive level meetings
    • Correspondence with BoD members and investors or their assistants on a regular basis
    • Assisting with organization and preparation of materials needed for each meeting (ordering food, presentations, print materials, conference calls, etc.)
    • General office management, including but not limited to, answering the phone, greeting visitors, mail and overnight deliveries, signing for deliveries, maintaining office supplies and equipment
    • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Education

    • Minimum 2+ years as an Executive Assistant, preferably in a legal or financial office environment
    • 2+ years of experience with scheduling national and international travel arrangements, required
    • 2+ years of executive calendar management
    • Must be professional, poised, detail-oriented, highly organized, a self-starter, dependable, able to multi-task and manage competing priorities
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must have excellent customer-service skills
    • Must have excellent time-management skills
    • Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment
    • Must be able to identify and solve problems independently
    • Advanced proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and email (preferably Gmail)
    • Must have previous experience with BoD, investors, customers, and executives
    • Previous experience in a mid-size company
    • 5+ years in office management / administrative assistant roles with career advancement/progression
    • United States work authorization required
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
