REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
This role is eligible for remote work. FRONTSTEPS is authorized to do business in AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, NC, OR, TX, SC, and WA. If you are not located in or able to work from a state where FRONTSTEPS is registered, we will not be able to consider you for this position.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer II to join our Scrum team as a mobile development specialist. In this mid-level position, you will be instrumental in crafting, enhancing, and fixing features for our mobile applications. Your role will primarily focus on the real estate market, providing innovative solutions to meet our project goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Collaborate within a Scrum team to develop, enhance, and troubleshoot applications tailored for the real estate industry.
- Spearhead the development of mobile applications using React Native, ensuring a seamless and responsive user experience.
- Engage in front-end website development to complement our mobile applications, enhancing overall functionality and user engagement.
- Undertake additional tasks or projects as assigned by management to support the team's objectives.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but candidates with significant work experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on mobile application development.
- At least 2 years of recent experience in building mobile apps using React Native, demonstrating a deep understanding of the framework.
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) working with REST APIs for backend integration.
- Competency in version control systems, such as Git or Subversion, with at least 1 year of experience.
- Familiarity with Redux for state management within React Native applications.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Previous experience participating in a Scrum team is highly desirable.
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
This position may be based remotely and pays an annual salary of $90,000 - $110,000.
This position will remain open through 03/22/2024.
