We are looking for a talented Director, Consumer Marketing who will be responsible
for building brand awareness and driving subscriber acquisition. Candidate will lead a lean
creative and social savvy in house team as we grow our investment into original content. The
ideal candidate would be a brand focused, creative, pop culture enthusiast with a deep
knowledge and understanding of the digital entertainment space.
Candidate must have a history of strategic thinking around dynamic, innovative marketing
campaigns targeting Millennial’s and Gen Z.   The candidate should also have a proven track
record launching new media brands and building audiences. Experience with paid media
and subscription services a plus.

Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Programming team and GM to develop overall brand voice and
    • tone and put strategic best practices together on how to communicate that brand to our
    • audience.
    •  Develop and execute overall consumer marketing strategies that support original
    • programming priorities and ultimately result in increased brand awareness and driving
    • new subscribers
    •  Lead internal creative services team to create all marketing materials both on and off
    • platform. This includes key art, paid media, email and social platform activations
    •  Develop and maintain overall consumer marketing budget, including paid media and any
    • creative outsourcing needs
    •  Work with show talent to develop engaging activations and creative promotional
    • opportunities
    •  Develop reporting & engagement metrics to track campaigns through media &
    • marketing analytics, including the application of data to optimize and test campaigns
    •  Coordinate efforts with in-house departments including programming, public relations,
    • product, legal and more

Qualifications

    • 8+ years of experience in the consumer marketing space, preferably at a media
    • company, working across strategy and creative.
    •  Native understanding of digital media, digital strategy, social media, social talent and
    • emerging trends
    •  Has managed annual and campaign specific budgets with the ability to prioritize dollar
    • spend to maximum efficiency
    •  Has experience building and running internal creative teams and possesses a rolodex
    • to outsource when needed
    •  Comfortable with technology, existing and emerging platforms and the ability to
    • capitalize on available functionalities to enhance consumer experiences
    •  Desire to work in a supercharged environment, taking initiative and managing multiple
    • projects at once
    •  History of developing creative elements such as art work, video, paid media and copy
    • across internal and external platforms
