We are looking for a VP, Strategic Content Partnerships who will play a critical role generating new business leads and driving revenue through the development and sale of story-led marketing solutions and breakthrough content programs for top Fortune 500 clients.  This person will be responsible for working in collaboration with the sales, integrated marketing, creative, social, talent, and events teams to lead and architect content recommendations and pitch presentations that are deeply routed in insights and leverage all Fullscreen content solutions and deliver on our clients’ core marketing objectives. In this role, the VP will report into the SVP of Fullscreen Brand Studio and will play a dual role as both a strategic content expert and consultative client development lead networking and opening doors with new clients and C-Suite executives. The role will offer a healthy mix of content strategy and program development, networking and prospecting for branded content opportunities, and client relationship building. This person will set the standard for the expression of ideas, stories, and presentations when delivering a pitch for the Brand Studio team and will guide other integrated marketing strategists in the development of best in class work. The VP will be a resource and guide to the internal organization in overseeing the creative brief in partnership with the strategy team, guiding the content recommendations and working with the integrated marketing and social teams to build a cohesive and compelling pitch deck. Throughout the proposal development process the VP will serve as quality control for the account strategy, storytelling, and visual expression of ideas.
 
The ideal candidate will have a background working in content strategy, branded entertainment, and business development and/or client services and have a passion for entertainment, social video, and platform storytelling specifically across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat. The ideal candidate must be confident interfacing with individuals of all levels, both internally and externally, leading internal brainstorms and working in a fast-paced environment that often involves juggling multiple priorities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead cross-disciplinary working teams dedicated to developing strategic, cross platform branded content programming
    • Lead, cultivate, and manage client relationships in partnership with the sales organization
    • Participate and lead brainstorming sessions with sales, integrated marketing, social, creative, and account management teams to build client solutions
    • Build and understand all Fullscreen content capabilities and service lines to best help educate clients about content capabilities and match needs with opportunities
    • Partner with Fullscreen creative, social and talent to create ground-breaking custom content programming
    • Develop stellar presentations which clearly communicate marketing strategy and campaign ideas
    • Open doors for sales to pitch capabilities and content programs to new and untapped clients
    • Stay on top of industry trends, insights, new technologies, platform innovations, and culture to help foster big thinking and business development
    • Collaborate with strategy team to build the creative brief and drive proposal development including timelines and deliverables
    • Ensure that all projects are executable and within healthy margin management across Fullscreen disciplines
    • Attend industry and executive level networking events to foster to relationship and develop new client leads
    • Secure meetings and client engagement opportunities for sales to cultivate content opportunities
    • Generate incremental revenue for Brand Studio and lock in a minimum of 3-4 new $1 MM+ custom content programs for sales organization

QUALIFICATIONS

    • 12+ years of building cross-platform digital content programs
    • Have a deep understanding of advertising, social, integrated marketing, consumer insights, and media
    • A proven content strategist and marketing expert, who understands how to transform brand challenges into big ideas, and can design and express in many disciplines across platforms
    • A team player and creative collaborator, comfortable with cross-discipline/ cross-functional work in a matrixed organization
    • Have an innate ability to simplify things for people in a complex environment and industry through various methods from words, to images, designs, and more 
    • Experience marrying client objectives to creative strategy 
    • Stellar interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
    • Strong content / creative development experience
    • Strategic, creative thinker with the ability to turn ideas into holistic social content programs
    • Excellent writing and presentation skills – both in structure and content
    • Strong attention to detail, organized and good management skills
    • Experience building trust and long-term relationships with executive level marketing clients
    • Experience at pitching and winning branded entertainment programming
    • Must be a self-starter
    • High energy individual who thrives in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to work well with different personalities and within a team setting
