We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for employee relations and for the improvement, execution and adoption of people processes within a specific line of business at Fullscreen Media. The stand out candidate will have an entrepreneurial interest and knowledge of online video, digital entertainment and the world of social media influencers.  The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting department managers in the development and retention of their teams to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of a highly cross-functional organization. This role is based in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

    • Serves as a business partner to designated department leaders which includes assisting managers with communication and coaching in regards to performance management, team development and employee relations
    • Engages with employees on employee relations matters, cultural initiatives, and day to day process improvements which lead to a work environment conducive to success
    • Administers and assists with development of employee programs, including but not limited to performance management, learning and development, and cultural initiatives
    • Ensures consistency and delivery of new employee onboarding processes, ongoing training and exit protocols
    • Develops, revises and implements Human Resources policies and procedures
    • Evaluates strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals
    • Ensures Fullscreen is in compliance with established policies and procedures

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
    • Ability and desire to be a change agent in their organization
    • Discernment and innovation in approach to problem solving
    • Self-starter that works effectively with other team members and Executives
    • Must have impeccable written and verbal communication skills

    • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification, or equivalent

    • Prior experience in digital media, online video, or consumer facing technology
