We are seeking a Motion Graphic Designer uses tools like After Effects and Photoshop to create animated 2D/2.5D micro-content. These artists should be able to identify the best techniques and methods to communicate the story of a title or brand using video and animation.

Our Motion Graphic Designers are responsible for the creative process at several different stages including conceptualization, animation, and editing. Other duties may include customizing existing content to platform specifications assets to be relevant to current events. 

We believe in animation set on the highest setting, requiring hour-to-hour problem solving. While each individual is expected to take ownership of completing assigned projects, you should be prepared to delegate work back and forth freely between other artists in order to get the job done properly. 


Responsibilities

    • Balancing static design assignments with motion graphics assignments
    • Presenting static design options for design treatments and creating final designs
    • Ideate, conceptualize, and execute a wide range of motion graphic animation techniques, including compositing, 2.5D animation and visual effects.
    • Utilize strong working knowledge of Adobe Suite
    • Strong understanding of best practices for exporting video/graphics for social platforms.
    • Analyze project scope and manage account team expectations for intake, creation, and delivery of motion graphics.
    • Manage multiple projects at once and prioritize tasks with pressing deadlines and client needs
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be effective in conveying clear and articulate feedback. 
    • Partner with account teams to best integrate relevant styles of motion graphics and design with social media advertising strategy 
    • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

    • Ideate, conceptualize, and execute a wide range of motion graphic animation techniques, including compositing, 2.5D animation and visual effects.
    • Utilize strong working knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop animation.
    • Strong understanding of best practices for rendering video and animation for social platforms.
    • Analyze project scope and manage account team expectations for intake, creation, and delivery of motion graphics.
    • Manage multiple projects at once and prioritize tasks with pressing deadlines and client needs
    • Partner with account teams to best integrate relevant styles of motion graphics with social media advertising strategy
    • Willingness to experiment, learn and execute a wide range of animation techniques.
    • Strong sense of design, illustration, and typography
    • Basic video editing skills.
    • Understanding of social content and how animation has fit into social advertising. 
    • Up to date with the latest trends in animated social content. 
    • Manage multiple projects at once and prioritize tasks with pressing deadlines and client needs
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be effective in conveying clear and articulate feedback.
