We are looking for an experienced Video Editor who can strategically piece together video content to tell a story and deliver a message. The Video Editor will be responsible for seeing the bigger picture of all available footage and content then crafting together the best snapshots to be used on Social Media. The Video Editor will also be involved in brainstorming and ideation, as well as providing expert advice on editing techniques that can be used to enhance the campaign’s performance on Social. You will join a growing, fast-paced team of managers, coordinators, designers, strategists, analysts, etc. and work cross-functionally with different roles.

What You'll Do

    • Create sizzle reels, animated GIFs, and remixes of client content
    • Color correction
    • Organize and string together raw footage into a continuous whole according to internal team/client vision
    • Review assembled content (on each platform the content is designed for) and determine if corrections are necessary
    • Review footage sequence-by-sequence to familiarize with available raw assets
    • Work closely with the design/animation teams to integrate graphic elements
    • Record needed sounds or obtain them from sound effects libraries
    • Manipulate story, score, SFX, and graphics to make the parts into a continuous whole
    • Piece sounds together to develop soundtracks
    • Work with the project managers to create a production schedule based on workflow criteria requested by the accounts teams
    • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

    • Expert-level exposure and familiarity in Premiere
    • Experience using editing tools including: Final Cut Pro, Avid or equivalent
    • Proficiency in After Effects
    • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate creative direction and vision with edited work and to understand and apply client feedback
    • Experience and extensive knowledge of social media platforms

Bonus Points

    • Direct experience editing for Social Media campaigns
    • Color grading software experience such as Speedgrade/DaVinci Resolve
    • Experience working in Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator
