At Fullscript, we’re not just changing healthcare—we’re making it whole.
We help 100,000+ healthcare practitioners support 10 million patients with a platform that delivers evidence-based health solutions, diagnostic support, and practitioner tools—all in one place.
Healthcare today is disconnected. We’re fixing that. Fullscript makes it easier for practitioners to treat the whole person, not just symptoms, so patients get the support they need—when they need it.
We’re building a better way—one where healthcare is connected, complete, and built for impact.
The Opportunity:
Fullscript is hiring a General Manager to lead and grow our Canadian business. Canada is our home market. We believe this is a $100M+ opportunity over the next few years. As GM, you will act as the most senior leader for the Canadian market.
You will own the business end-to-end: crafting the strategy, building the execution plan, leading go-to-market and operations, and working cross-functionally to deliver an exceptional provider and patient experience.
This is a high-ownership, high-agency role that requires entrepreneurial energy, commercial acumen, and operational rigour. You will report to the Chief Operational Officer and work closely with the CEO and Chief Product Officer.
What You'll Do:
- Market Strategy & Growth Leadership:
- Build and lead a compelling strategy and business case for Fullscript's growth in Canada.
- Conduct a full market gap analysis, including platform, pricing, product availability, and competitive dynamics.
- Define a phased execution roadmap to scale revenue, improve margin, and enhance platform adoption.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to localize and improve the platform experience for Canadian users.
- Explore expansion areas including diagnostics, lab partnerships, and potential distribution acquisitions.
- P&L Ownership & Operational Execution:
- Full accountability for Canadian P&L: revenue growth, contribution margin, fulfillment cost, and provider retention.
- Own end-to-end logistics, fulfillment, and CX—with support from U.S. shared services and your operational partners.
- Evaluate the current 3PL model and determine if a shift to in-house distribution is strategically or financially warranted.
- Team Building & Leadership:
- Assess and recommend an optimal organization structure to support Canadian growth.
- Build a high-performing, local team where justified (Sales, Partnerships, Ops) while leveraging U.S. teams via a matrix.
- Operate with high autonomy and accountability; serve as a "mini-CEO" for Canada.
- Provider & Brand Partnerships:
- Expand provider acquisition and retention through a mix of sales enablement, partnerships, and platform enhancements.
- Personally lead key strategic relationships with brand partners, trade associations, and KOLs.
- Explore and support brand or distribution partnerships and M&A opportunities.
- Platform & Experience:
- Co-lead Canadian platform improvement initiatives with Product & Engineering.
- Drive resolution of known issues (e.g., product discoverability), and ensure parity or better vs. U.S. experience.
- Shape the product roadmap based on Canadian practitioner and patient feedback.
- Analytics & Decision-Making:
- Use data to drive all business decisions. Own key metrics: revenue growth, contribution margin, provider churn, platform usage, and fulfillment cost per order.
- Must be able to frame the right questions, interpret data effectively, and build strong, evidence-based business cases to drive action.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years in senior leadership roles spanning general management, commercial, and/or operational leadership.
- Proven P&L ownership, preferably in healthcare, SaaS, eCommerce, or supply chain-focused businesses.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience scaling businesses, building teams, and influencing across functions.
- Deep understanding of Canadian market dynamics and regulatory landscape, or strong aptitude to learn quickly.
- Exceptional communication, influence, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Highly analytical with a strong grasp of financial and performance metrics.
