This person will also work on technical accounting topics including impairment, software capitalization, NFTs, tokens, liquidity pool and crypto ledger management and reconciliation.

Ideally 3+ years of experience or currently working as a Controller in startup/fintech

Knowledge of fintech payments, use of crypto ledgers and cryptocurrency required

Entrepreneurial, consultative mindset.

Self-directed, can manage complex projects.

Process-oriented; able to create policies and mentor implementation.

Resourceful, analytical and able to work on multiple priorities

Reconcile cryptocurrency records to create financial and tax reporting

Trace transactions through public ledgers/blockchain

Manage financial statement preparation and month-end reporting

Consult leadership stakeholders on best practices related to crypto and business decision-making

Issue opinions on complex crypto transactions

Ability to track and organize time by project to properly bill clients and meet deadlines

· Advanced knowledge and proven work experience using QBO, Xero, Sage Intacct and/or NetSuite

· Extensive knowledge and experience with crypto ledger solutions and software

· Corollary and add-on systems expertise in payments, AR, data and financial analysis software

General understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain

Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data

Strong preference: CPA or MBA from accredited institution
