What we're looking for  

We’re looking for an experienced leader to own all aspects of business operations and analytics at Future. You’ll be responsible for enhancing & scaling our team, systems, and processes, and for delivering strategic analysis & actionable insights into complex scenarios to drive decision-making across the company. You’ll partner closely with our marketing, product, & performance teams to ensure we make smart & timely data-driven decisions to accelerate our progress towards our business goals. This role reports directly to our COO and will work closely with our entire leadership team.

You will:

    • Build out & lead our business operations & analytics organization. Identify talent needs, hire, manage, and develop a high-performing team
    • Review & assess all of our existing analytics infrastructure. Identify key gaps and identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, standardization, or automation, and prioritize solutions to enhance our decision making
    • Provide high quality and timely reporting, analyses and actionable insights and ensure teams have easy access to the right information when monitoring organizational health and making strategic decisions.
    • Drive deep strategic analysis, drawing insights and transforming data into actionable changes that inform the most important decisions across the organization to improve our understanding of our business 
    • Develop new models and methods for evaluating existing data or correlating new to existing data sources for intuitive reporting solutions.
    • Stand up, socialize, and ensure consistency around data hierarchy, definitions etc. and maintain consistent and accurate data in our systems including historical data

You have:

    • 5-8+ years experience working in highly strategic, analytical & cross-functional roles in fast-paced environments. Familiarity with growth & product analytics is a plus
    • Experience building and managing lean teams with outsized company impact
    • Strong understanding of analytics languages, data visualization tools, and data pipeline tools. Advanced experience writing and optimizing SQL queries, manipulating & analyzing data in excel, and working with large data sets (Python or R is a plus)
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills - you enjoy digging deep into the data, thinking from first principles, and delivering the best results. You have the ability to identify the root causes of changes in key metrics and run tests to validate your hypotheses.
    • Independence in determining and establishing data analysis priorities to balance ongoing projects with requests from multiple team members.
    • Polished communication and strong collaboration skills – ability to translate business problems into research/analytics studies, as well as ability to communicate the results of analyses with business partners to impact and influence strategy and action at all levels.
    • Experience managing and working with various data structures and common methods in data transformation, data validation and audit.
