FWF, a leading Third-Party Logistics (3PL) provider, is seeking a dedicated Level 1 IT Support Technician to provide essential technical support within our mid-size office environment in Grand Rapids. The successful candidate will be the frontline support for all basic IT-related issues, ensuring smooth and efficient operation for all users by addressing a variety of technical concerns, with a primary focus on password resets, hardware troubleshooting, and software administration.

Responsibilities
·Provide prompt and effective technical support for issues related to passwords, keyboard/ mouse/docking station malfunctions, and Microsoft Office Suite problems
·Conduct initial troubleshooting for web-based applications and determine when to escalate issues to upper-level support teams
·Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues, offering timely and user-friendly assistance
·Assist with the administration and troubleshooting of Windows OS and macOS environments
·Document all support activities, incidents, and resolutions in the help desk tracking system
·Collaborate with IT team members to improve support processes and user satisfaction

Qualifications
Required
·Solid understanding of computer hardware, components, and peripherals
·Proficiency in troubleshooting processes for computers, electronics, and software
·Familiarity with Windows OS and basic knowledge of macOS
·Experience with Microsoft Office tools and troubleshooting related issues
·Ability to communicate effectively with users of varying technical backgrounds
·Work in-person at our office in Grand Rapids

Preferred
·Prior experience in an enterprise computing environment
·Experience working in a help desk, call center, or customer service role
·Certification in CompTIA A+ or equivalent practical experience
·Familiarity with Active Directory and enterprise troubleshooting
·Experience in the freight/logistics industry is highly desirable, providing insight into industryspecific challenges and opportunities
·Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
