The Vice President of Cyber Capture and Business Development is responsible for FWG’s market share and new business growth in technical cyber solution development and strategic cyber programs. This role will define and communicate technical strategic directions for cybersecurity capabilities and solution architecture, as well as help provide technical subject matter expertise and technical capture management to FWG to help the company achieve its financial directives.
 
·         Responsible for technical solution leadership on existing and new business opportunities
·         Advises proposal teams on technical solutions on identified requirements.
·         Serves as the Capture Vice President for cyber engagement opportunities, leading multiple cyber mission-focused RFPs and RFIs supporting our customers’ missions.
·         Works with our growth and program operation teams to create cyber program capture plans with clear objectives, goals, schedule, and actions to drive cyber program capture maturity and Probability of Win improvement that aligns with FWG’s business acquisition process.
·         Manages and coordinates assignments of technical personnel for Cyber solution development.
·         Reviews and supports the development of technical (cyber) proposals.
·         Provide subject matter expertise to meet customer technical, schedule, and cost requirements.
·         Meets with customers to discuss and evangelize FWG's capabilities, services, and solutions.
·         Provide solution-related technical support after award, as needed.
·         Identify and build a robust pipeline and act as a coach to other business development, capture, and proposal personnel within our firm around best practices on pipeline management while ensuring that data within our pipeline is captured accurately, refreshed often, and executed.
·         Develop and execute new business strategies, and tactical plans and collaborate with FWG leadership while leveraging FWG’s technical SMEs to pursue and win work within the federal space.
·         Manage and evolve partnerships and ensure FWG grows in current verticals as well as adjacent markets.
·         Develop, champion, implement, and improve business processes and practices.
·         Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices.
·         Participate in business planning activities, including periodic pipeline reviews, operating plan development, opportunity gate reviews, win strategy workshops, and proposal reviews.
·         Collaborate with other business development personnel, line managers, and project managers to support cross-enterprise objectives and customer engagement.
·         Support overall strategic planning while aligning business pursuits/capture activities around FWG’s growth strategy.
·         Travel to corporate office, site locations, onsite meetings, etc., as required.
·         Other duties related to the business functions of FWG Solutions, as assigned.
 
Education:
·         Bachelor’s degree in a related field, required.
·         Master's Degree in a cyber or technical-related discipline and 10+ years of prior relevant work experience within DoD IT / Cybersecurity
·         *Additional years of experience and certifications will be considered in lieu of a Master's Degree
 
Licenses & Certifications:
·         Security Clearance or ability to obtain one, required.
 
Experience:
·         Military experience, **Required** (O-5/O-6+)
·         Experience directly leading teams and winning large cyber opportunity captures using a business acquisition process.
·         Expertise in technical solution/proposal writing
·         Experience supporting DoD Cyber clients (Air Force, Army, Navy, Space Force etc.)
·         Experience with current DoD Cybersecurity Policy/Strategy/Orders (NIST, CISA, CYBERCOM)
·         7+ years of experience leading cybersecurity teams and projects
·         7+ years of experience providing solution development and responding to technical RFPs.
·         Prior experience as a security architect Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting technical proposal development.
·         Background in application security, cloud security, hardware security or security engineering expertise
·         Experience in security architecture with proven ability to effectively conceptualize, design, build, and maintain multiple current and future enterprise support tools and platforms.
·         Experience working in both Classified and Unclassified operations.
·         Expert understanding of government contracting and FAR.
