    • Be the voice of Fyusion’s users, ensuring that the product experience is aligned to users' needs and expectations.
    • Develop guidelines for ethical and quality research processes and communications, consent, NDAs, records retention, privacy, and information storage. Assist in enacting these guidelines and monitoring adherence to them by others.
    • Sustain an informed and empathetic organization by strengthening our understanding of our users and evangelizing research insights throughout the company through written reports and presentations
    • Contribute to the optimization of tools, processes, and workflows within a growing UX Research and Product Design team.
    • Work both independently and cross-functionally with Product Management, Design, QA, and Engineering in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Here's what we're looking for:

    • 2+ years of experience conducting UX research on products, managing projects, and working in a large, matrixed organization.
    • End-to-end experience with UX Research using a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods to drive business and product decisions (study design, screening and recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting).
    • Understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them.
    • Knowledge of UX principles and best practices and some familiarity with designing wireframes or prototypes for research validation.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to different audiences within the company.
    • Ability to proactively manage workload and anticipate issues or requirements on projects in advance and work to raise those with critical people outside your team.

Bonus Points for:

    • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Design, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
    • Experience shaping a research culture within product teams, guiding team members to conduct research with tools and templates, and mentoring junior colleagues to understand users better.
