We’re looking for Senior level Product Designer (Ideally 5+ years of experience) to join our Handheld Team—the crew behind the Gabb Phone 4 and 4 Pro, Gabb OS, and all of our Gabb-built apps. You’ll play a key role in helping to reimagine mobile device management for families in and out of our ecosystem.This is more than a design role—it’s an opportunity to help shift the culture of product at Gabb. We’re looking for someone with vision, executional excellence, and a deep desire to build tech that puts kids and families first.
What You’ll Do:
- Design native, kid-safe app experiences across our Gabb OS ecosystem.
- Partner with product, engineering, and research to ship experiences that are simple, secure, and joyful to use.
- Take features from 0 to launch and help maintain/improve them post-release.
- Build prototypes, run tests (with tools like Maze), and translate insights into impactful design decisions.
- Bring energy, positivity, and drive to a fast-moving product team.
- Iterate through ideas to get to the best solution to build quickly and while informing all stakeholders.
- Experience shipping app at a consumer technology company.
- Act as a customer advocate, with a constant pulse on the customer needs and satisfaction for handhelds.
- Use data to inform design decisions and post launch impact.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of product design experience, with a strong portfolio of shipped mobile apps.
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, Maze, and prototyping tools.
- Deep knowledge of native app design, with experience launching and maintaining multiple apps across iOS and Android.
- Working understanding of how OS-level updates, firmware, and device management tools affect UX.
- Curiosity or foundational understanding of VPNs and how they’re used in privacy and safety contexts.
- Positive in all interactions.
- Proactive and self-driven.
