The purpose of the Wholesale Account Manager position is to manage loans submitted by third party originators through the company's wholesale channel. Wholesale Account Managers work closely with the Account Executives and their accounts to ensure applications are thoroughly complete and adhere to company, investor and industry standards. Those in this position are detail-oriented, and able to multi-task and prioritize in order to achieve their goals in a timely manner. Wholesale Account Managers are responsible for upholding the company’s commitment to quality and customer service, checking for accuracy from application thru submission and funding. Wholesale Account Managers may be supervised by the Lead Wholesale Account Manager and ultimately report to the Senior Vice President of Third Party Originations.

Responsibilities

    • Loan Preparation
    • Manage the accounts pipeline on a daily basis, concentratin on older loan files
    • Communicate regularly with Account Executives and the accounts regarding the status of the file and outstanding conditions needed
    • Notify accounts in the event of credit, documentation or lock expiration
    • Maintain the stacking order of each file and set deadlines for documentation needed
    • Pre-underwrite loans to verify the accuracy and completeness of the documentation and data
    • Ensure the initial application reconciles and meets up-to-date program guidelines
    • Submissions Management
    • Review, send and communicate conditional approvals with accounts
    • Contact appropriate parties wtihin 24 hours of conditions being issued
    • Communicate outstanding items to accounts and assist in addressing their questions
    • Verify accuracy of conditioned documents received
    • Submit files for Clear-to-Close

Qualifications

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Self-starting, self-reliant, highly motivated and dependable
    • Efficient in time-management and ability to organize and prioritize tasks
    • Technology savvy and comfortable learning new systems and programs
    • Working knowledge of lending guidelines and a thorough understanding of the process and procedures
    • High school diploma required, college degree preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience required, preferably in Wholesale
    • Completion of the Anti-Money Laundering, Fair Lending, and Equity Origination trainings are required
