What you will be doing
- Text Translation:
- Be responsible for accurately and fluently translating texts from the source language into the target language, maintaining the original meaning and style of the text, and ensuring the accuracy of the translated content (Monthly translation volume: approximately 105,000 source English words).
- Be familiar with the professional terms and industry backgrounds of different products, and ensure that the translated content meets the requirements of specific fields.
- Text Review and Localization:
- Review translated documents/online copies and conduct localization inspections to improve the quality and accuracy of translations, making them conform to language expression norms and contextual requirements.
- Pay attention to details such as grammar, spelling, and punctuation to enhance the professional level and readability of the copy.
- Cross-cultural Communication:
- Possess good cross-cultural communication skills, understand different cultural backgrounds and customs, and avoid cultural ambiguities and misunderstandings in translations.
- Play an active role in cross-cultural exchanges to promote understanding and cooperation among all parties.
- Professional Knowledge Update:
- Continuously learn and accumulate professional knowledge and terms in relevant fields, and maintain sensitivity to industry development and changes.
- Continuously improve translation skills and language abilities to adapt to translation needs in different fields and languages.
- Consciously and actively update and maintain the multilingual terminology database of relevant products.
- Other Tasks:
- Actively comply with various arrangements of the company and Team Leader to facilitate the smooth operation of the team and the smooth progress of projects.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor's degree or above, majoring in languages, translation or related majors. Candidates from Asian regions who graduated with a major in French and are proficient in either English or Chinese.
- Have some translation work experience. Those with language or translation ability certificates will be given priority.
- Be proficient in using CAT tools (such as Trados, memoQ, Smartling, etc.).
- Those with translation experience in the financial, securities, futures, and digital currency trading industries will be preferred.
- Be conscientious and responsible in work, respond promptly, have a strong sense of responsibility, possess strong learning abilities, and have good communication and coordination skills.
