You will be joining at an exciting time for Generation, as we recently launched the GROW program in partnership with MasterCard Foundation. We will train around 2,000 Ghanaians in the next 2 years in remote or online work (performing role such as data analysts, web development and customer service). Generation will also be coordinating a coalition of partners to experiment with different methods of delivery to find out ‘what works’ before we scale.

This role is a full-time, 40 hours a week contractor position, hiring immediately with a contract end date in December 2024.

·       Support data collection from our learners and graduates, mainly via surveys, by supporting the distribution and completion of these surveys.

·       Conduct phone surveys with our stakeholders, such as learners and graduates of the program, employers, program staff members etc.

·       Support the completion of all internal and external reporting requirements, e.g. verifying KPI numbers for reporting to Mastercard foundation.

·       Improve our data collection processes through training other program team members, and simplification and automation where possible.

. Support data standardization and completeness processes to maintain the integrity of our data throughout the GROW program.

. Demonstrate improvement in your technical data skills, such as learning new spreadsheet formulas, and learning our data visualization software, Microsoft Power BI.

. Become capable on our tech platforms, e.g. Salesforce and in-house recruitment software, GenRecruiting.

🗹     You are experienced working in spreadsheets (Excel or Google sheets), with day-to-day experience in a previous role or through your studies. You can build formulas, create pivot tables and data visualizations.

🗹     You are a logical thinker, which will help you design and build surveys and spreadsheets.

🗹     You are a clear communicator and confident reaching out to our learners and alumni to support our data collection.

🗹     You are detail-oriented and ensure we maintain accurate, high-quality data.

🗹     You have strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
