Our lab in San Diego is looking for a motivated and versatile Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) Scientist or Sr Scientist to join our team to help advance our compounds through preclinical and clinical development. The successful candidate will be involved in drug discovery and development through the conduct of
DMPK assays.

What You Will Do
- Successfully performs DMPK experiments (metabolic stability, metabolite profiling, protein binding, drug-drug interaction, pharmacokinetics…) with minimal input from supervisor.
- Analyzes experimental data, interpret results, and troubleshoot assays.
- Develop novel bioanalytical method for measurement of drug candidates in different matrices by LC-MS/MS
- Presents work to supervisor, lab and/or project meeting.
- Documents experiments in lab notebook in an accurate and timely manner.
- Assists with the preparation of reports.
What You Will Bring
- A Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Pharmacology or related discipline with 1-2+ years Industrial experience in Drug Discovery & Development.
- Hands on experience in operation, maintenance & troubleshooting of LC-MS/MS instrument is preferred.
- Knowledge on various in-vitro & in vivo ADME assays is preferred.
- Solid written and oral communication skills, enthusiasm, integrity, self-motivation, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail are necessary
