With teams across five countries, three continents, and a global customer base, we have no plans to slow down.

We are seeking a motivated Data Labeling Analyst I (Junior Data Labeling Analyst) to become a foundational member of our new GeoScaleAI - Data Labeling Team. This team's core mission is to build, maintain, and own the centralized groundtruth database for fraud and location spoofing. You will play a crucial role in shaping the quality and reliability of the data that underpins all our future fraud prevention and machine learning initiatives.

If you are passionate about data quality, eager to solve complex problems, and want to make a tangible impact on protecting our business and clients, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

What You'll Do:

    • Data Triage: Serve as the first line of defense for data quality. You will rapidly assess incoming cases, handle routine labeling and validation tasks (the "knowns") with speed and accuracy, and demonstrate the critical judgment to identify and escalate complex or novel cases (the "unknowns") to senior specialists.
    • Groundtruth Database Management: Log all identified fraud and spoofing transactions into our central database. You will review and audit existing groundtruth data to enhance its integrity and bring it to the highest possible standard.
    • Process Development & QA: Help build the core framework for our operations. This includes creating and refining data labeling guidelines, establishing a robust quality assurance (QA) process, and solidifying the team's daily operational workflow.
    • Collaboration & Feedback: Implement a formal feedback loop by collaborating with client-facing teams to incorporate direct intelligence on suspected fraud cases, ensuring our data remains current and comprehensive.
    • Process Improvement: Actively identify opportunities to streamline our processes. You will contribute to developing automated solutions to reduce manual maintenance and engage with the team to explore how AI can enhance the labeling and validation process.

What You'll Bring:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
    • 0-2 years of experience in a data-focused role (strong internships or academic projects are welcome).
    • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data is essential.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
    • Experience with scripting languages like Python for data automation and analysis.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Kibana or Power BI.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
    • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts.
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Bonus Points For:

    • Previous exposure to or a keen interest in fraud detection, risk management, or data quality assurance.
    • Experience working with ticketing or project management systems like Jira.

Why Join Us?

    • Foundational Impact: Be a key player in building a critical new function from the ground up. The systems and processes you help create will be the bedrock of our fraud detection strategy.
    • Career Growth: Develop a highly sought-after skill set in data integrity, fraud analysis, and process automation in a supportive and collaborative environment.
    • Meaningful Work: Your work will directly contribute to protecting our platform and our customers from fraudulent activity.
