Who are we looking for:We are seeking a dynamic data analyst who has the ability to utilize their experience to analyze finance and accounting data as well as other business data, develop Power BI reports, and can contribute immediately to the Finance team’s efforts and deliver results.

What are the details of the position? As a Data Analyst, you will work as part of the Finance team and assist in producing monthly management reports, developing various dashboard reports in Power BI,  conducting various data/business analyses using BigQuery, and providing value-added insights to the organization. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, sound business acumen, and strong problem solving skills.

Duties and Tasks/Essential Functions:
Create and produce management reports/dashboards in Power BILeveraging D365 data and BigQuery, develop various financial/business reports in Power BI Maintain and update sales target report to ensure the integrity of the report and actuals are reflectedTraining users on the effective use of Power BI reports and spreading knowledge of Power BI within GeotabExtract data from Geotab’s management system (GMS) and analyze via Google BigQuery (subscriptions, credits, etc.)Ad hoc analysis using BigQuery, Google Sheets, and Power BI Other duties as assigned 

Experience/Skills Required: 
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Computer ScienceMinimum
-3 years’ experience in data analysis/business analysis using SQLAdvanced Excel skills (Macros, PivotTables)SQL statements (Google -BigQuery) is a must, and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is an asset
-Experience and knowledge of accounting and finance system is an asset
-Demonstrated pragmatism is a strong asset
-Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, communication (written and verbal) skills;
-A self-starter with strong attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines;Ability to prioritize, critically analyze, solve and where appropriate, escalate issues
-Ability to influence and engage across the organization by building collaborative relationships with diverse groups
