Who you are:

We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist with previous experience in the technology industry, who enjoys working in a multicultural and dynamic environment.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Marketing Specialist you’ll play a crucial role in implementing and managing market growth programs that drive revenue growth through our partner ecosystem. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and business goals. You will maintain open and regular communication with (internal and external) stakeholders to address concerns, share updates, and ensure successful program adoption.

How you'll make an impact:

    • Spearhead end-to-end program management by diligently adhering to defined scope, implementing ongoing marketing enhancements, and supporting development of operational capacity for global adoption.
    • Be a marketing evangelist for  the Global Partner Program. Create understanding through various communication vehicles such as sales enablement training, partner newsletter, website updates, sales and marketing collateral, partner events and more.
    • Architect and implement program roadmaps for partners that drive value and align with their business and marketing objectives.
    • Establish strong rapport with assigned partner accounts to assess their marketing needs and advise on recommended paths based on competencies and program fit. 
    • Maintain product and marketing knowledge offered in the Global Partner Program, keeping abreast of solutions and strategies aligned to segment go-to-market approaches.
    • Work with Segment and Channel Marketers to proactively manage marketing performance. Identify potential risks and resolve issues effectively for successful project outcomes.
    • Leverage program results to continually improve structure, targeting, and messaging of the overarching program to drive adoption and advancement of program participants.
    • Execute marketing tactics through various stages of the partner journey, such as creating program playbooks, overseeing the communication scheduling process, managing system (PX Hub) triggered announcements, monitoring performance dashboards, and administering key elements of the Ignite and Champions Program.
    • Act as a global liaison for managing program budgets and co-marketing investment results. Provide monthly budget summaries for Management by working with the North America Channel Marketing and Regional Managers to track ongoing expenditures, forecast planned spending and calculate return-on-investment (ROI).
    • Maintain a calendar of marketing activities and ensure tasks, deadlines and SLAs are met by collaborating with cross functional Teams including Revenue Operations, Partner Training, BTO, Segment Marketing,, Solutions Marketing, and Sales.
    • Act as a primary marketing contact and consultant for partners applying for programs and seeking specialization credentials.

What you'll bring to this role:

    • 7+ years of experience as a Marketing Specialist or similar positions.
    • Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree specialization in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field.
    • Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
    • Thorough understanding of branding and marketing principles, integrated marketing and performance analytics and tools.
    • Passionate about brand marketing and content marketing with excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
    • Experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the technology industry is an asset.
    • High accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, and highly-organized
    • Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
    • Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
    • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
    • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including conflict resolution, and relationship management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including comfort with delivering presentations and training.
    • A strong team-player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
    • Must stay relevant to technology,  and should have the flexibility to adapt to the growing technology and market demands.
    • Technical competence using workflow tools (WRIKE, Jira), CRMs (Salesforce), social media tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social etc.), Marketing automation tools (Pardot, Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp). As well as other software programs such as Google workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
