Social Media Manager, Community (Remote)

We’re looking for an experienced social marketing expert. In this role, you will be the primary planner, curator, and executor, for our  social media content across all owned social channels -  including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google My Business, and (eventually) homepage forum.  This person will work closely with our Content Strategy Manager to build out the editorial calendar for social and ensure the holistic social ecosystem of our brand and product is consistent, engaging, and growing organically.  This person will also work closely with our Customer Experience team to create processes around customer service inquiries on social channels. This is an individual contributor role with the opportunity to scale resourcing in the future. This provides a great opportunity to centralize and own our holistic  organic social strategy and performance. This role is for someone who loves building and scaling communities, always puts forth a positive mindset, and is deeply excited by the impact and growth engine of social media. 

What you'll be doing

    • Develop creative organic social campaigns to educate and increase engagement with our community of guests and hosts
    • Foster our social engagement efforts by maintaining presence and conversation across all channels
    • Partner with Customer Experience team to create processes around customer service inquiries via social media
    • Establish a global editorial content calendar, collaborating with Content Strategy Manager and other  x-functional partners to develop content that nurtures our community of users
    • Develop community engagement plans focused on turning prospects into customers and customers into advocates
    • Perform community moderation and platform administrationEditorial Planning and content creation Explore and test into new social channels as you see fit

What you'll need

    • 5+ years of experience managing social media brand channels and working cross-functionally with internal teams and stakeholders
    • Fluency with core social media platforms with an understanding of the latest social media trends and strategies
    • Ability to use analytics tools that track success of campaigns and efforts and make recommendations based on quantitative analysis
    • Strategic mindset: You should bring creative solutions to every problem and never see a challenge as insurmountable
    • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
    • Experience developing social marketing strategies that are native to each channel and that can deliver tangible results
    • Ability to think outside the box and proven scrappy social campaign successes
    • Deep understanding of how paid and organic content and strategies work together
