Sales Development Reps are at the core of our revenue department and are responsible for one of the most important steps in the sales process: building pipeline. In this role, you will strategically profile, engage with and qualify companies to create and close net new opportunities for the business.
 
You will receive a robust training and development program, inclusive of both sales and technical product training, and will work cross-functionally within our best-in-class software sales team. 

As an Outbound Sales Development Representative at Built Technologies, you’ll be responsible for introducing Built’s software to either lenders or general or specialty contractors who could benefit from one of Built’s innovative construction finance products.

The ideal candidate is organized and efficient, enjoys conducting in-depth research, has excellent communication skills, and is able to understand and empathize with client challenges and needs. 

As an Outbound SDR you will:

Identify and reach out to prospective clients
-Research construction industry to identify prospects
-Craft effective email and phone-based outreach strategies 
-Attend and represent Built at conferences, trade shows and events

Educate prospects and convert to qualified leads to grow sales pipeline
-Introduce prospects to Built and its contractor solutions
-Qualify prospects and gather essential information for sale
-Set meetings with qualified prospects for account executives

Capture and communicate key information
-Document all interactions in our CRM 
-Maintain complete and accurate pipeline data 
-Use insights from data to manage to personal and team targets 

Work to constantly improve execution and grow your skillset
-Quickly ramp up your understanding of the construction finance ecosystem
-Continuous personal development regarding sales techniques and strategies

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 1-2 years' experience in a client-facing role
    • The desire to grow your career in enterprise software sales 
    • Excellent organizational, teamwork and communication skills
    • Unquestionable integrity, work ethic and sense of ownership 
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced, start-up culture
    • Experience with enterprise software sales a plus but not required
    • Experience with financial institutions, construction or real estate a plus but not required
