Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant will provide administrative support to Built’s growing teams. We are looking for an energetic, qualified individual with knockout interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to remain several steps ahead in anticipating the needs of the CEO. The ideal candidate will take great pride in their role and serve as an ambassador for Built.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Independently provide high quality support to the CEO.
    • Act as a liaison, problem-solver, facilitator, and first point of contact for the executive and others in the department
    • Manage day-to-day workflows while maintaining a work environment that enables the success of Built
    • Provide extensive calendar and expense management, anticipating needs and proactively and effectively managing time accordingly
    • Screen incoming calls and correspondence, responding independently where appropriate
    • Coordinate events, including but not limited to: quarterly board meetings, team-building, and off-sites
    • Assist the CEO in the completion of high-level reports, documentation, and presentations
    • Create and maintain various databases, reports, and records, as well as produce, verify, and analyze data
    • Independently run small projects and initiatives
    • Collaborate with other senior leaders to enable an agile business culture

Experience and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or technology; or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience
    • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the right balance of friendliness and firmness
    • Impeccable note taker
    • Excellent communication skills--both written and verbal
    • Exceptional phone etiquette
    • Strong time-management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
    • Strong analytical, math, and problem solving skills
    • Can-do attitude with a willingness to pitch in
    • Computer savvy with an advanced knowledge of modern SaaS software i.e. Slack, Salesforce, and Google Docs
    • Flexible availability, at times, when the CEO travels to different time zones
    • Ability to travel 10% of work time
    • Knowledge of software project management a plus
