The Integrations Technical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring successful integration and data connection delivery through relentless reduction of ambiguity and ruthless prioritization and focus. This person is accountable for demonstrable and measurable outcomes for delivery of functionally complete integrations and acts as a crucial hub of information for the business throughout the full product development lifecycle.

The Integrations Technical Project Manager will coordinate all engineering, labor, and materials to ensure that projects are on time and on budget.

Job Description:

    • Work with the Implementations Data Project Manager to coordinate the scoping, prioritization, delivery and, where applicable, ongoing maintenance of client data services (one-time data import, ongoing data connections, and Single Sign On implementations)
    • Serve as the liaison between clients and engineering for all custom integration and data requirements - you’ll work with clients and prospects to identify data and integration needs and translate those needs into clear requirements documentation, and with engineers to design client solutions to be built upon our flexible data movement architecture
    • Establish and ensure adherence to a clear process for service prioritization and delivery, and improve the process over time based on feedback
    • Serve as the primary point of client contact for all data and technical services at all points in the customer lifecycle after implementation in support of ongoing account growth
    • Support the Implementations Data Project Manager as they work with clients to obtain and validate data to be used in data services
    • Work with data services engineers to ensure orderly delivery of client data service
    • Work with customers and internal stakeholders to maintain a prioritized queue of data services deliverables
    • Contribute to resource development and internal training plans to ensure that Built’s technical services are always well represented in client communication

Built Expectations of Product Owners (colleague to Project Managers):

    • Collaborate with the Built Product team to identify and refine opportunities for product updates based on needs identified while working with clients
    • Collaborate with product management, engineering leadership, and product design to discover and validate product solutions that solve high-priority user and market problems
    • Translate and decompose product vision and strategy into measurable goals and iterative user stories through story slicing and acceptance criteria refinement
    • Participate in customer discovery and feedback sessions via conference call and customer on-site visits
    • Serve the agile engineering teams through refinement, task break-down, and iterative delivery of prioritized user stories
    • Maintain a refined and prioritized backlog for engineering teams
    • Interface between stakeholders and development teams by representing and translating the needs and feedback of the business and customers/users
    • Manage business expectations of scope and timing for deliverables via technical documentation, project status update presentations, and product demos
    • Facilitate cross-functional Go-To-Market activities in collaboration with product marketing, support, sales, and implementations 
    • Continuously improve personal and team processes with the goals of increasing predictability, quality, and transparency while decreasing lead time, uncertainty, and rework

Qualifications:

    • Experience working directly with clients and prospects to assess needs and define technical integration solutions
    • At least 2-5 years prior integrations and technical project management experience
    • Experience working with large, non-uniform data sets
    • Experience working with engineers to deliver client-specific technical solutions
    • Able to manage multiple concurrent projects and balance the workload
    • Proven history of collaborating with external stakeholders to bring integrations to life that meet the business needs within the allotted timeframes 
    • Must be passionate about learning the nuances of construction lending customer data and how it maps to the Built platform
