As an Account Executive for the Built for Contractors Division, you will articulate our value proposition to executives in the large commercial or production home builder contracting companies. The ideal addition to the team is a sales professional who can hit the ground running, is capable of working independently, and is excited by the thought of fundamentally transforming the business of construction.

As an Account Executive, you will:

    • Develop and execute a sales strategy within the assigned territory/market segment
    • Understand the prospect’s business through excellent discovery inquiry and listening
    • Deliver the Built for Contractor’s value proposition in a clear and compelling manner to executives and decision makers who may have limited software experience
    • Qualify prospects and build business cases (e.g. ROI and work flow illustrations) for adoption 
    • Progress opportunities through various types and sizes of companies involved in construction (commercial developers, contractors, suppliers, specialty contractors) to close software agreements 
    • Coordinate with executive management and other internal teams (client services, product, marketing, SE’s) to ensure great client experience and to continuously improve process and product
    • Rapidly learn the market, the decision makers, our products and the value propositions, and successfully sell into the Contractor market meeting or exceeding agreed upon quotas

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3+ years' experience running the full sales cycle of a solution using a consultative approach
    • Understanding of and/or experience with finance or construction industries 
    • Demonstrated knowledge/experience regarding back-office operations
    • Experience with native SaaS solutions and proven record of exceeding revenue targets
    • Superb interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Unquestionable integrity, work ethic and sense of ownership 
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced, start-up culture
