In 2019, we completed a Series B financing round of $35 million led by Goldman Sachs Investment Partners bringing our total funding to $59 million.  Our rapid growth gives us the opportunity to invest in team expansion and development.  

As an Account Executive for the Built for Contractors Division, you will articulate our value proposition to executives in the large commercial or production home builder contracting companies. The ideal addition to the team is an enterprise sales professional who can hit the ground running, is capable of working independently, and is excited by the thought of fundamentally transforming the business of construction.

As an Account Executive, you will:

    • Develop and execute a sales strategy within the assigned territory/market segment
    • Understand the prospect’s business through excellent inquiry and listening
    • Deliver the Built for Contractor’s value proposition in a clear and compelling manner to executives who may have limited software experience
    • Qualify prospects and build business cases (ROI) for adoption 
    • Progress opportunities through various types of companies involved in construction (commercial developers, contractors, suppliers, specialty contractors) to close software agreements 
    • Coordinate with executive management and other internal teams (client services, product, marketing) to ensure great client experience and improve process and product


    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3+ years' experience running the full sales cycle (cold call to close) of a solution using a consultative approach
    • Understanding of and/or experience with finance or construction industries 
    • Demonstrated knowledge/experience regarding back office operations
    • Experience with native SaaS solutions and proven record of exceeding revenue targets
    • Superb interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Unquestionable integrity, work ethic and sense of ownership 
    • Comfort working in a fast-paced, start-up culture
    • Willingness to travel (up to 30%)
