We provide nation-wide B2B waste management services to America’s best companies, including Instacart, Amazon, Weee!, Sares Regis, Ashley Homestore, Restoration Hardware, and many more Dimension is backed by notable institutions including Altair Capital, Primavera Capital,  Lightspeed Ventures, and 500 Startups.

Dimension is looking for a Business Operations Manager to join our team in San Francisco, CA. You will contribute to the day-to-day operations and growth of the company, while owning specific initiatives that would maintain marketplace capacity and improve operational efficiency.

This position will require you to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment and work on multiple assignments in tandem, with overlapping schedules. This is a high-growth opportunity, we are looking for someone who demonstrates leadership qualities, high ethical behavior, and strives for cross team collaboration. The core of this role is someone who is enthusiastic, a quick learner, and proactive, can quickly develop a strong sense of ownership towards achieving specific objectives, and execute comprehensively.

As Business Operations Manager, you will:

    • TLDR for this role: a versatile individual great at communicating to customers (companies, governments, individual consumers) and providers (drivers, haulers, etc) via all channels such as calling, emailing texting.
    • Assist with challenging provider requests or issue escalations as needed.
    • Develop strong provider relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers.
    • Build, operate, scale and improve our provider operations with a heavy focus on solving problems and leading our CS teams to deliver and maintain positive experiences.
    • Participate in provider payroll support functions; calculate, review, and verify by collecting and analyzing information.
    • Manage remote and distributed teams and/or institute core improvements in various parts of the Operations team.

Required Skills & Experience

    • TLDR for the ideal candidate: a hardworking self-starter that is used to do everything needed to achieve goals, quickly. Be able to dive deep into a subject and does not mind "getting hands dirty" and doing groundwork
    • Based in San Francisco and able to work from the San Francisco office at least 4 days a week
    • 2 years of investment banking/ management consulting/ business ops role in a fast paced setting are required
    • A hustler: strong drive and flexibility to learn anything, start anything, and scale up anything.
    • Strong technical skills; Excel analysis required.
    • An interest in sustainability and waste services
    • Strong abilities to manage a few XFN projects simultaneously
    • High attention to detail, analytical, and are process-driven
    • Super tech-savvy and willing to get scrappy and manual if needed
    • Self-motivated and have a stellar work ethic. You’re looking for the right company to support your growth
