As a Product Designer at GetGo, you have the deepest appreciation of our customers’ needs and wants. You’ll be envisioning and developing new in-app and out-of-app experiences, and you’ll be involved in every aspect of the product development process.
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes a user-centred process to create the best end-to-end experience. Your designs will impact hundreds of thousands of users, and the highest standard for craft and quality is needed.
Day to Day Activities
- Leading user research to uncover opportunities to optimize the user experience across a variety of platforms
- Defining and scoring user pain points to inform prioritization of feature enhancements
- Architecting the end-to-end customer journey to ensure a cohesive and seamless experience from app to drive
- Developing high-level user journey, wireframe and prototype to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Use data-driven insights and user research to inform design decisions
- Ensuring that design thinking is consistently applied throughout the product development process
- Developing pixel-perfect designs based on product requirements
- Contribute to and maintain our overall design language and brand voice
- Developing standard UI components, specifications and style guides for company-wide use
- Conducting industry research and staying up-to-date on UX and UI design best practices and emerging technologies
- Advocating for design solutions that represent the voice of the user
- Work closely with Product Managers and partner with Business Operations and Engineering teams to bring design ideas to life
Who We Are Looking For
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant industry experience in Product Design
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Suite
- Experience with working in cross functional teams
- Ideally someone with prior design experience in a Tech company/experience collaborating with Product/Engineering teams
- Passion for developing great consumer facing products
- Someone who understands the importance of balancing user and business needs
