As a Motion Design Intern, you are a driven and out-of-the-box creative who can help bring to life compelling motion & animation graphics that are aligned with our brand narrative, creative concepts and marketing strategies. You will be part of GetGo’s highly energetic and dynamic creative team, collaborating with other creative disciplines to create original motion content across our platforms such as product, social media, website, editoria etc. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, proactive, has a strong eye for motion & animation design, and has a strong understanding of digital media and tools to create engaging content.
Day to Day Activities
- Design & animate high quality motion content and graphics for our brand platforms such as editorial, internal & external brand communications, quarterly campaigns, social media content etc.
- Work closely with other creative and marketing peers to conceptualise ideas & translate concepts into compelling and effective video/animation directions.
- Collaborating with other creative peers with a vision of elevating the work together through craft excellence.
- Ability to explore and execute motion visuals based on requirements and collaborate with different departments to ensure consistency of designs across deliverables.
- Editing video footage and adding effects/elements to enhance storytelling with motion graphics.
- Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, identify and solve problems.
- Share knowledge, experience and inspiration on the latest motion design techniques and trends.
Who We Are Looking For
- Diploma/Degree in Motion or Design Communication or related studies.
- Strong understanding of motion design thinking and principles.
- A digital native who is curious with a collaborative mindset, you are also a student who is not afraid to experiment and enjoys working with and learning from people.
- Organised, motivated and independent conceptual thinker.
- You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas.
- Flexible and able to adapt working style based on the specific needs of projects.
- Expert proficiency with motion design tools ie Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, Premiere Pro & Illustrator.
- Proficiency with Cinema 4D (or any other 3D softwares) and Redshift is a plus.
