We are currently looking for a highly motivated and energetic IT & Security Specialist to become a valuable member of our team. On a daily basis you will play a vital role for the Mysa team as it relates to the effective installation, configuration, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of all systems and communications hardware, software and related infrastructure.

What You Will Do:

    • Perform routine hardware/software maintenance processes including upgrades, replacements, networking, data recovery, and diagnostics procedures
    • Triage daily support requests and elevate to appropriate team members
    • Maintain and troubleshoot company assets including laptops, network printers, mobile phones, and related office infrastructure
    • Ensure reliable and stable operation of all systems and communications, while determining root cause analysis of issues and developing solutions for recurrence prevention
    • Follow all IT account access and equipment standardization for employee onboarding and offboarding
    • Administer and support various software solutions for the office (ie. Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom etc)
    • Execute documented security workflows as required. Work with, support and assist in operationalizing information security and risk management tasks.

Who You Are:

    • You are a mature, curious and self-motivated technician looking for a place to thrive.     • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in an IT support rolePost-secondary Diploma in  Information Technology, CompTIA A+ certification, or equivalent education
    • Experience with Single sign-on and identity access management platform would be considered an asset
    • Experience assembling/installing/troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and other related tasks, is required. Windows and Mac administration experience is required, Linux/Unix experience is a plus. Knowledge of basic networking, TCP/IP and network configuration is appreciated.
    • Ability to interact with peers, both locally and remote, in a positive, confident, and professional manner while exhibiting effective time management and organizational skills is required.
    • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment to resolve issues is part of our daily operations.
    • The successful candidate will be dedicated to lifelong learning, self-improvement and development of deeper technical knowledge. They will bring to the table a can-do attitude, a history of focused, deep work and excellent attention to detail.
