We are looking for a Head of E-commerce to lead our E-commerce team Remotely. This role, reporting to the VP Growth, will define Mysa’s e-commerce strategy and own the P&L for E-commerce and Amazon, as well as work with the e-commerce team to deploy revenue-generating tactics and campaigns across getmysa website and Amazon.

What You Will Do:

    • Strategic Planning (25%)
    • Build e-commerce strategy by utilizing industry knowledge and customer understanding to drive growth
    • Develop strategies to maximize direct-to-consumer revenue for all Mysa products
    • Develop and implement e-commerce customer acquisition and retention strategy
    • Develop and manage the e-commerce team budget, optimizing the investment per channel/account
    • Work with Marketing, Product and Commercial Planning on new product launches
    • Inform pricing, commercial planning and cross-functional promotional strategies

    • Channel Management (50%)
    • Own and accelerate P&L growth for the e-commerce channels (Getmysa.com and Amazon)
    • Channel optimization - understand and assess the capabilities of each marketing channel, and maximize ROAS to hit aggressive growth targets
    • Continuously develop a deeper understanding of Direct-to-Consumer landscape and ensure Mysa delivers a world-class e-commerce experience
    • Optimize the e-commerce equation of maximizing traffic, conversion rate and average order value in order to meet and exceed forecasts
    • Oversee the management of paid media (Facebook, Youtube, Pinterest), paid search (Google, Amazon) and email (Customer.io) to drive traffic and conversions
    • Continuously improve our lead generation and email capture efforts to grow revenue through one of our most valuable assets
    • Develop a rigorous understanding of the customer journey to identify and remove friction
    • Work with marketing to ensure our e-commerce channels grow Mysa’s brand
    • Work with our commercial planning and operations teams to ensure allocated inventory levels are sufficient and optimized

    • Business Operational Excellence (10%)
    • Develop rigorous KPI management and tracking systems to optimize revenue and margin
    • Forecasting of sales volume, risks and opportunities
    • Ensuring we have a lean yet comprehensive tech-stack enabling our team to punch above their weight

    • Leadership and People Development (15%)
    • Develop and coach a diverse and high performing team while attracting and retaining talent
    • Keep a pulse on team growth needs and develop team growth plans
    • Exert influence across departments within the revenue-driving teams at Mysa
    • Present to and consult with senior management on business trends with a view to developing new products, and revenue maximization tactics

Who You Are:

    • 5-10 years progressive experience in e-commerce, consumer electronics industry would be an asset
    • Expert understanding of the e-commerce equation, with knowledge of driving traffic, conversion and average order value
    • Able analyze large and complex sets of data to diagnose bottlenecks and opportunities and inform decision making
    • Highly experienced defining and managing e-commerce KPIs delivering significant P&L growth year over year
    • High degree of familiarity with driving conversion through Facebook, Youtube, Email, Google and Amazon advertising
    • Deep understanding of consumer channels, direct to consumer landscape and impact of emerging trends
    • Proven track record of successful people leadership and development, including building teams from the ground up
    • University degree is preferred
    • Ability to develop higher level strategic plans and transform them into actionable plans
    • A strong player-coach who is not afraid to jump in and help their team execute
    • Apply entrepreneurial thinking to identifying and executing on business opportunities
    • Ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships and influence multiple stakeholder groups
    • Ability to transfer your deep domain knowledge onto the team and develop team members as experts in their own right
    • A lifelong learner who stays at the forefront of a fast-changing industry and channel
    • Highly skilled and thoughtful communicator able to tailor your communication style to different audiences
    • Strong technical expertise managing complex ecommerce platform initiatives
    • Passion to drive top line growth through marketing, analytics, and multi-channel leverage
    • Proven ability to innovate, lead, analyze, evaluate, and make recommendations on strategic questions
    • Expert knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets and working with data
