As a Key Account Executive – Mid-Sized Agencies, you’ll play a vital role in growing Getty Images’ relationships with creative, independent, and regional advertising agencies across North America. These agencies serve fast-growing brands with high creative expectations and tight budgets — and you’ll help them win with the right content at the right time.
You’ll manage a dynamic book of business, nurturing existing relationships while identifying new opportunities to expand our reach. This is a hybrid hunter/farmer role for a strategic, driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, uncovering value, and creating long-term revenue growth in a highly competitive, fast-paced market.
Your Next Challenge:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-sized agencies by identifying new contacts, understanding account structures, and expanding into new departments.
- Build strategic relationships with decision-makers across creative, production, strategy, and procurement teams.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities aligned with clients’ campaign cycles and evolving content needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with newly established agencies or unestablished agency accounts with potential.
- Maintain a consistent cadence of discovery and solution-based conversations — targeting 25+ meetings per month.
- Deliver compelling virtual and in-person meetings that uncover client needs and present relevant, high-value solutions.
- Help clients navigate the full Getty Images ecosystem, including stock, custom content, editorial assets, and AI tools.
- Use a consultative sales approach to position Getty Images as a creative partner, not just a vendor.
- Customize proposals that align with agency budgets and client expectations across industries like retail, healthcare, tech, and lifestyle.
- Handle pricing and negotiation conversations with confidence and clarity.
- Use Salesforce daily to manage accounts, track progress, log meetings, and plan next steps.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and deliver regular updates that reflect active deals and future opportunities.
- Stay on target with CRM KPIs related to outreach, meeting activity, and opportunity management.
- Collaborate with Getty Images colleagues in legal, product, content, and marketing to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Stay current on trends in content licensing, creative services, and media production.
- Contribute to team learning by sharing feedback, insight, and successful sales approaches.
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling media, content licensing, SaaS, or creative services to agencies.
- Familiarity with the North American agency landscape, especially regional and mid-market players.
- Strong relationship-building skills with creative, account management, and production stakeholders.
- Experience working with sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Outreach.
- Strong communication and presentation skills — in person and remotely.
- Comfort selling in value-sensitive environments, with a focus on tailored solutions and measurable outcomes.

$77,800 - $103,700 a year
Sales roles at Getty Images are compensated based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: qualifications, skill level, demonstrated expertise, certification, business requirements, requirements for the position, geographic location, and level of responsibility relative to the position requirements. Given these factors and others, the starting base pay range for this position can be quite broad, typically from $77,800 – $103,700 The company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any point in the future.
