Who You Are:
As the Application Development Manager on the Sales Tools team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design, development, and implementation of applications within the Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Vonage Contact Center platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect solutions, and deliver innovative tools that empower our sales teams and enhance customer engagement. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and business acumen to drive successful outcomes.
Your Next Challenge:
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of application developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Set clear objectives, provide mentorship, and support professional development initiatives for team members.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize projects, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of impactful business solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.
- Architect, design, and document Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, integration patterns, and standards.
- Evaluate new technologies and platforms to drive innovation and improve the efficiency of our sales operations.
- Lead the development and customization of an integrated Sales Tools platform, leveraging Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Vonage Contact Center, and a suite of tools and services to support Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and Finance business operations.
- Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes to maintain the integrity and reliability of applications.
- Manage deployment activities, including development environment, version control, and release management, adhering to established change management protocols.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Legal, and Technology, to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders, and proactively address challenges to drive resolution.
- Build strong relationships with vendors and external partners to leverage their expertise and resources in delivering solutions.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in application development, with a focus on Salesforce platform development and customization.
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, Salesforce APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience with Vonage Contact Center or similar cloud-based contact center platforms is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leading development teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer) are a plus.
