This role is a key strategic business partner, collaborating closely with Product Managers and other senior stakeholders, including our executive team, forming an integral part of major initiatives where influence will make a significant impact to the success of the business.
Who you are:
- Success in this role will require the right combination of intellectual curiosity and entrepreneurial sense to identify truth within extensive amounts of data with speed and efficiency. This individual will thrive working with large and complex data sets to convert raw data into meaningful information. The ideal candidate should feel at home in the grey area of analytics, having the end-to-end skills to compile data in novel ways, ultimately translating this data into concrete insights.
What You'll Do:
- Optimize Getty Images’ gross margins across websites, products, and ownership models
- Develop financial models to identify content for acquisition and build our wholly owned content library by using billions of data points daily
- Ensure efficient royalty allocations to contributors and the long-term sustainability of Getty’s contributor model, which will be executed by performance reviews of contributors and aligning their costs to each contributor’s unique contribution, leveraging all of our site interaction data
- Be responsible for all data visualization and dashboarding for the Executive Content team, which entails creating appropriate data pipelines, efficient tables, and Looker dashboards. Telecommuting permitted.
What You'll Need:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or closely related field
- Three (3) years of experience in the occupation or a closely related role in photography and digital art statistics or data analytics
- Three (3) years of experience with Hive/SQL
- Three (3) years of experience with Python
- Three (3) years of experience with Spark
- Three (3) years of experience with PySpark
- Three (3) years of experience with Snowflake
- Three (3) years of experience with Looker
- Three (3) years of experience with Airflow
- Three (3) years of experience with Jupyter Notebooks
- Three (3) years of experience with DBeaver
- Three (3) years of experience with Microsoft Excel Financial Modeling, including calculating ROI on EBITDA and CashFlow
- Three (3) years of experience with Microsoft PowerPoint

$142,563 - $170,600 a year
The starting salary range for this position at the time of posting is USD $142,563.00 to USD $170,600.00 per annum. Getty Images has different ranges in different locations within the US, and this range represents the starting base pay range. Actual compensation will depend on factors including but not limited to: qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, certification, business needs, performance, and level of responsibility along with the requirements of the position. The company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any point in the future.
