Reporting to the Director, International Tax in Seattle, WA, the Manager, Tax will be responsible for managing both the corporate income and indirect tax activities of Getty Images’ Latin American entities, ensuring compliance with global controls and policies.

A proven leader and mentor with excellent communication skills who has the ability influence decisions across multiple functions and levels within a company. You have experience showing consistent advancement into more complex roles including leadership and management.
Your Next Challenge:
- Manage external service providers in the preparation and filing of all corporate income tax returns, withholding tax returns within the Latin American region, including estimated tax payments, documenting positions in supporting files, and proof of customer withholdings for the Latin America region.
- Manage external service providers in the preparation and filing of all VAT and other local tax returns in the Latin America region, including calculation of payments due, and the documentation positions in supporting files.
- Review intercompany expense calculations and supporting invoices prepared by accounting to ensure appropriate bookings in the local statutory accounts, providing adjusting journal entries, as required, and partner with treasury and accounting to ensure intercompany charges are being settled timely and accurately.
- Support local accounting team in the preparation and filing of the local statutory financials, including managing external service preparation of local statutory income tax provisions.
- Assist with the preparation of transfer pricing documentation for the Latin America region.
- Provide support to the finance organization in relation to Latin America e-invoicing requirements for company.
- Work with external service providers to manage tax authority examinations, including responses to tax authority notices, as required.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent. CPA, CA or equivalent preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of tax experience working in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax environment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required in both English and Spanish.
- A high degree of accuracy and proven ability to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment.
