Who you are:
Getty Images Inc. is looking for a Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner who enjoys working closely with their business functions to provide hands-on, credible, and compassionate business partner support.  We are excited to find someone who bring a unique and diverse perspective to our business and human resources processes.
You are a hardworking, highly driven, commercially minded experienced and forward-thinking HR partner. You are pragmatic and innovative in your approach and not afraid to challenge the established norms, acting as a true partner to an evolving, fast paced business. You have broad experience with a comprehensive grasp of US employment law and employee relations, ideally coupled with an interest in a broader AMER and/or APAC remit and while building positive relationships across our HR verticals (rewards, culture, development, HRIS, benefits, talent acquisition, and sales enablement teams)

You want to join an industry leader and a hardworking, results driven HR team supporting a matrixed organization of over 1000 sales, marketing, business development, editorial and creative staff. You will be reporting to the Senior Director, HR – AMER / APAC

Your next challenge:
Partner with our AMER sales and Global Marketing team, spread across multiple countries and US states, helping ensure HR strategies and programs are aligned with business goals and global objectives.
Focus on areas such as employee engagement, retention, performance and talent pipelining and talent management and partner with in-house Talent Acquisition, Culture & Development and Rewards teams to successfully support the business.
Act as a change agent and proactively recommend practice changes and innovative ways to address management and strategic objectives.
Proactively use relevant HR metrics and reporting to help make business decisions and influence change with functional teams.
Collaborate & drive with the Global HR team in rolling out both functional and HR projects and initiatives, ensuring that they are locally relevant (i.e. Annual Reward Cycle; Engagement Survey; Leadership Development; Mentoring; Onboarding initiatives, etc.).
Support our employees across the functions to champion and promote Getty Images culture and core values (our ‘Leadership Principles’).
Manage an HR Generalist.

What you’ll need:
Minimum 7 years of proven HR business partner experience gained in a fast paced, commercial environment.
Strong business knowledge, particularly in the commercial business and marketing space– a genuine interest in how the business operates, the needs of the business and recommend value-add HR solutions
Experience of working as part of a matrix organization, ideally within the sales, technology and/or media industries, would be an asset.
Demonstrated track record of developing strong relationships across all levels of the organization and with diverse client groups.
Ability to develop the trust of your functional business executives. Demonstrated ability to drive major initiatives and influence partners across levels
People management experience
Self-motivated and able to demonstrate initiative and be proactive with a ‘can do’ demeanor.
Project management ability, thinking big picture and driving the solution on the continual improvement of our systems and processes.
Energy, enthusiasm and eagerness to chip in and influence at all levels.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain objective and diplomatic.
Strong written and verbal communication capability. Must be accurate with excellent attention to detail. Sophisticated MS Office skills together with sound knowledge of Workday (HRIS system) would be advantageous.
Flexibility and willingness to take on additional tasks, with the ability to plan, prioritize and meet timelines.

Nice to Have:
An additional language is advantageous, but is not required. (Spanish preferred)
Professional HR qualifications are preferred, with a BA/BS in Human Resources Management or related field or equivalent combined education and experience; PHR certification preferred
