Getty Images Inc. is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst, FP&A who thrives in a fast-paced dynamic environment possesses a high level of intellectual curiosity and is adept at manipulating large data sets to generate actionable insights and results.

You are a self-motivated individual who can prioritize and multi-task, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. You are organized, detail-oriented, and have stellar time management skills. You excel in presenting complex data and insights indigestible and meaningful presentations and bite-size formats for a diverse audience. You are willing to invest the time to develop cross-functional relationships in the business and understand the importance this has in your work and your own career development. Your Next Challenge:

    • You will be reporting to the Manager, FP&A
    • Partnering with various business functions and the broader financial and accounting teams, you will use your analytical skills to dive deep into understanding monthly performance drivers and variances to expected performance and skillfully communicate results to the CFO, Global Leadership Team, and the Board
    • You will work with the FP&A team to create insightful and accurate monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reporting for the Board of Directors, with P&L variance analysis, key global operational metrics, and detailed fluctuation commentary
    • You will skillfully navigate existing complex financial models and system querying tools to support these efforts
    • You will be responsible for reviewing inputs and maintaining the accuracy of the long-term financial modeling in Essbase
    • You will assist Business Development teams on M&A and Partnership deals—play role in evaluating revenue, gross margin, and costs

What You’ll Need:

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred with emphasis in quantitative disciplines such as finance, economics, engineering, statistics, or accounting
    • 1 to 2 years of direct financial analysis experience, demonstrated top quartile performance in prior roles and academia, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Willingness to embrace teamwork with a “can-do” attitude and be comfortable taking ownership of the work you contribute to the team with an emphasis on competency and accuracy
    • Excellent analytical and modeling skills, FP&A experience a plus, working with and interpreting large quantities of data and compiling relevant, timely, and reliable analysis for key stakeholders
    • Strong working knowledge of key FP&A processes, e.g., budgeting, forecasting, & financial analysis
    • Strong appetite for developing a rapport with key managers and business line leadership to facilitate information sharing and quality data output
    • Ability to institutionalize repeatable and robust new processes and procedures
    • Highly skilled in MS Excel and PowerPoint
    • SQL knowledge a strong plus
    • Direct experience using Hyperion Essbase or understanding of a multi-dimensional environment is a plus, but not required. Use of other Hyperion products (Planning, Strategic Finance) or other tier-one products from TM1/Cognos, Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Planful (Host Analytics), SAP Analytics Cloud, etc. also a plus
