Who You Are:
As the Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, you will be responsible for leading global financial reporting, including SEC filings, executive-level internal reporting, technical accounting, and audit coordination. The focus will also be on supporting the development, growth, and evolution of these areas.
This is a high visibility role and offers exposure to leadership and many areas in Getty Images. As a new public company, you will help form future processes, controls, deadlines, and changes in reporting requirements. This role is an individual contributor with no direct reports currently. 

Your Next Challenge:

    • Responsible for timely and accurate reporting of quarterly and annual financial statements presented in accordance with US GAAP & SEC guidelines.
    • Assisting with other SEC filings, including 8-Ks, S-1s, S-3s, Proxies, etc.
    • Effectively summarize and apply technical accounting in accordance with US GAAP. Preparation of technical accounting memos to conclude on accounting positions.
    • Prepare and manage quarterly SEC reporting calendar, including coordination with external auditors, executive, legal, compliance, and investor relations stakeholders
    • Monitor the development and applicability of emerging accounting and reporting rules being deliberated by the SEC, US GAAP, PCAOB, or other regulations. Ensure compliance with all SEC, US GAAP, and disclosure requirements
    • Review and provide feedback on internal and external communications related to financial reporting, including board presentations, investor relations, presentation decks, earning releases, etc.
    • Advise management of trends and changes in reporting requirements, peers, competitors and industry trends
    • Coordination of audits with external auditors and Getty Images’ staff
    • Assisting business process owners in SOX compliance efforts
    • Debt compliance reporting
    • Equity accounting and valuations
    • Accounting and reporting for significant transactions (M&A, refinancing, hedging, debt extinguishment, divestitures, etc.)

What You'll Need:

    • Minimum of 7+ years of relevant work experience within both a public accounting firm and/or a publicly traded US company with some experience in SEC reporting.
    • Critical eye and attention to detail
    • Ability to independently set direction, motivate and deliver results. A strong ability to “figure things out” and work to find solutions.
    • High degree of emotional intelligence, leadership presence and ability to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels.
    • Ability to independently set direction and deliver results
    • Deadline driven with a desire for continual process improvements.
    • Expert understanding of US GAAP
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
    • CPA or equivalent required
$124,000 - $152,000 a year
The starting salary range for this position at the time of posting is USD $124,000 to USD $152,000 per annum. Getty Images has different ranges in different locations within the US, and this range represents the starting base pay range. Actual compensation will depend on factors including but not limited to: qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, certification, business needs, performance, and level of responsibility along with the requirements of the position. The company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any point in the future.
