Who You Are:

Getty Images is looking for a marketing and technology savvy individual to lead a portfolio of projects essential to powering a modern marketing organization. The Senior Project Manager sits at the intersection of business and technology to deliver elegant tools and solutions for our customers and our team. This role can be based out of the Seattle or New York office with flexible work options.
Your Next Challenge:
The Marketing Operations Senior Project Manager is a key role in the marketing team responsible for handling a portfolio of marketing asset and software development projects. The role works across a sophisticated marketing technology stack that is integrated with our websites, enterprise data platform, and sales tools. Marketing Operations develops user-friendly tools that that enable marketers to create high quality and on-brand marketing assets such as websites and emails without the need to code. For more complex projects, the team custom develops marketing assets for web, email, and other platforms. The ideal candidate for this role applies project management rigor and marketing savvy to clarify business requirements and create a comprehensive project plan from development to release. You will need to collaborate and work effectively with a diverse team of marketing project managers, engineers, marketing automation specialists, and business stakeholders. 

General Responsibilities:

    • Takes end-to-end ownership for project delivery from scoping to implementation and maintenance.
    • Responsibilities include collection of business requirements, establishing technical requirements, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing production and launches.
    • Develops test plans for quality assurance and user acceptance testing prior to release to production.
    • Manages localization process for global marketing assets such as websites, emails, and digital ads.
    • Builds and maintains positive working relationships with colleagues and members of the project team.
    • Clearly communicates project risks and issues impacting time and scope as early as possible along with proposed solutions or mitigations.

What You’ll Need:

    • Bachelors’ degree in a field with a strong emphasis on business or technology.
    • 5+ years demonstrated ability in project and/or program management.
    • Understanding of web services, online technologies, virtualization, developer tools, and user interface design.
    • Experience managing website development projects.
    • Experience with marketing technologies such as Eloqua, Demandbase, and Newscred preferred.
    • Knowledge of project management and software development methodologies such as Agile.
    • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to develop detailed technical requirements and a development roadmap.
    • Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills, proven ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.

Mental and Physical Demands:

    • A quiet location with reliable high-speed internet connectivity, an environment suitable for professional work (desk, chair, external monitor, etc.)
    • Frequent communication with others to exchange information
    • Frequent sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing; Time of each will vary
    • Constant operation of computer and frequent usage of other office machinery, including (but not limited to) calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc
    • Constant assessment of accuracy and thoroughness of the work assignment
