Localization Project Manager
Location: Seattle - North America (hybrid or remote)

Who You Are:
As a Localization Project Manager, you will work alongside a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality localized content. Do you have strong project management skills? A successful candidate has 3 to 5 years of solid experience in localization, project management experience, and is a native speaker, or have full professional proficiency, in at least one language besides English. The right mix of technical, organizational, and communication skills is the key to success. You will be responsible for the localization of, but not limited to: Getty Images, iStock and Unsplash websites, marketing collateral, legal documentation, contributors briefs, and internal communications.
Your Next Challenge:
- Manage localization projects and requirements across multiple internal teams and external vendors
- Build strong relationships and work cross-functionally with Getty Images team members to deliver high-quality content
- Define strategy, resource needs, and schedule for assigned projects
- Oversee E2E localization workflow using standard translation management tools and systems
- Understand and convey globalization best practices to collaborators (e.g., help to internationalize UX design and copy)
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies in translation management tools and processes and find solutions
- Engage effectively with localization vendor contacts to facilitate timely, high-quality deliverables
What You'll Need:
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated ability in the localization industry
- Native speaker or have full professional proficiency in at least one language besides English
- Proficiency in working in all localization file types (XML, HTML, IDD, JSON, PO, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Computer literacy with major Windows or Mac applications
Nice to Have:
- Certification in Localization Project Management or a bachelor’s degree in Language Studies or other relevant degrees
- Self-motivated and proactive
