Getty Images Inc. is looking for a Regional Content Specialist who is passionate and knowledgeable about photography and video, a great communicator and knows how to connect with and influence image and video-makers. You are passionate about the way imagery works. You are eager to support initiatives that promote Diversity & Inclusion and are not afraid to bring a diverse viewpoint to your work. You are a fluent Spanish and English speaker who has some creative, media or industry experience. You are very much a self-starter who can be depended upon to work autonomously but can also work effectively with local and global creative teams. You will be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina and be willing to travel on some occasions to other LATAM countries (Chile, Colombia and Mexico) to attend photographer events, once travel is safe post the pandemic.

The mission of the Regional Creative Content Team at Getty Images Inc. is to support our local community of contributors in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Chile by educating, inspiring, and managing them to bring in their best work while also answering to the visual needs of our customers. We achieve this goal by 1) engaging and building relationships with our local contributors 2) proactively recruiting new local talents and new relevant content sources 3) constantly communicating content needs to our artists 4) organizing educational webinars and/or local events or get togethers. As a Regional Content Specialist for Latin America you will be reporting into the Senior Manager, Creative Content for LATAM based in New York. As part of the Creative Content team, you will have ownership of your projects, and will work closely with Creative Insights, Marketing and Sales teams to make sure we are delivering our best and most relevant local content to our customers in region.

Your Next Challenge:

    • Develop and maintain close relationships with assigned photographers to drive the production of relevant content
    • Stay in tune with photography and image buying communities to keep abreast of trends in the industry
    • Work with Creative Insights team in region to help analyze current visual trends to maintain the relevance of Getty Images content;
    • Communication of content needs to artists (from all sources)
    • Working toward content volume targets as set locally
    • Support local events like iStockalypses, Weekend shoot events, Webinars etc. that support the education of contributors and the gathering of local content
    • Proactively recruit new talent and new relevant content sources
    • Support Creative team in ad hoc projects to refine and curate existing collections to improve the customer experience
    • Supports the Sales, Marketing and PR organizations in understanding the strength of the Getty Images creative offer and communicating that to customers
    • Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas and share the results with the photographer community to drive the right content
    • Support sales and marketing with client visits or presentations about local content
    • Assist in delivering time to market targets and to ensure the continued evolution and improvement of all content workflows
    • Support contributor relations team with regionally relevant content for newsletter, promotions etc.
    • Identify and approach potential creative communities for recruitment marketing, build and maintain relations with same
    • Communicate with new artists through social media and other engagement strategies
    • Regular internal communications with other members of the Content team on contributor matters, issues and concerns
    • Positively communicate business strategy to contributors
    • Help localize/translate our global contributor communications
    • Coordinate ticketing (Service Now) to solve local contributor queries
    • Proactive problem solving around contributor issues
    • Solving daily internal inter-departmental issues and queries
    • Helping to solve any issues that are preventing the smooth submission of imagery to the business

What You'll Need:

    • You have a relevant degree in visual/creative media.
    • You have at least 2 years relevant experience in this field.
    • You are fluent in both Spanish and English, written and verbal, and are able to precisely translate copy from one language to the other.
    • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • You have experience in negotiation/mediation/problem resolution & sensitivity to potential relations (political &/or legal) situations.
    • You have a good level of experience in relationship building and management.
    • You are able to inspire and motivate content contributors.
    • You have some knowledge of the visual market, it’s creation and usage (e.g., stock photo agency, commercial photography, publishing, etc).
    • You are proficient in either PC or MAC platforms as well as MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and Photoshop.
    • You can independently execute a given project, from ideation to delivery, and can pro-actively interact with others from the team at Getty Images to access necessary resources or data.
    • You are proactive and likes to share new ideas and solutions with your team.

Mental and Physical Demands:

    • Constant operation of computer and frequent usage of other office machinery, including (but not limited to) calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc. (Required)
    • Frequent repetition of motions and gestures that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. (Required)
    • Constant assessment of accuracy and thoroughness of the work assignment. (Required)
