Strategic Key Account Executive – Broadcast

The Strategic Account Executive role is responsible for growing existing revenue across Getty Images’ Key clients. This role requires outstanding TV Broadcast specialised industry knowledge and expertise in identifying potential commercial opportunities through networking and strategic sales techniques. The role plays a pivotal role in client renewal negotiations, pricing agreements and relationship development.

Who You Are:

    • You are a dedicated strategic salesperson that is well organised, self-motivated and with a proven track record of success in delivering against targets! This is a UKI role responsible for growing revenue and client penetration by identifying key influencers and decision makers within your target companies. Client interaction is at the highest decision-making level to position Getty Images as the ultimate value provider of content across all products and services. Shown long term relationship development experience and maintenance is crucial. Requires 5+ years strategic sales or business development experience. Experience and success in finding and closing commercial opportunities and customer relationship management. Proven strong pipeline management and forecasting skills. Strong networking, communication, negotiation, presentation, and proposal development skills. Broadcast Industry knowledge and a total understanding of the end-to-end television production process is a crucial component of the role.

Your Next Challenge:

    • Identifies and communicates the value proposition for key strategic accounts and leads the customer effectively through the sales cycle.
    • Negotiate high-level subscription renewals
    • Develops sales approaches and solutions which lead to increased penetration and share of market.
    • Develops commercial revenue streams as it relates to all Getty Images products and services.
    • Uses Salesforce diligently to supervise account opportunities and pipeline; follows up on customer service issues as appropriate; fulfils management reporting requirements; mentors other sales employees.
    • Leverages shown experience and a wealth of contacts across the international television and digital marketplace.
    • Travels to onsite customer meetings, industry events and client networking opportunities.
    • Involves some international travel to visit clients and other Getty Images offices.
    • Works in collaboration with sales partners and colleagues in other segments/departments to define and execute account strategies and analysis where appropriate.
    • Partnering with Regional Marketing to help co-ordinate customer outreach and presence at industry events.
    • Move strategically internally and externally to deal with broader issues and opportunities for the accounts.
    • Find creative solutions and be proactive in finding revenue opportunities.
    • Reporting to the Senior Director responsible for Getty Images’ Broadcast business.

What You'll Need:

    • Strong Strategic skills and overall eye for business and the ability to find and close commercial opportunities and build customer relationships.
    • Proven pipeline management closing and forecasting skills.
    • Strong networking skills and persuasive negotiator, ability to hold value and close deals.
    • Degree educated or higher education diploma. 5+ years related professional experience working for an international business.
    • Outstanding written and communications skills, comfortable negotiating up to C-suite level executives.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and proposal development skills.
    • Proficient in all Microsoft Office tools, with a solid and numerate grasp of Excel.
    • Experienced in CRM (preferably Salesforce) as a platform for all customer transactional and data capture.
    • Appreciation for all technical TV industry acronyms, formats and parlance.

Mental and Physical Demands:

    • Frequent communication with others to exchange information.
    • Frequent sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing; Time of each will vary.
    • Constant operation of computer and frequent usage of other office machinery, including (but not limited to) calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
    • Constant assessment of accuracy and thoroughness of the work assignment.
