Who You Are:

You have 5 - 8 years of experience in internal, change, or HR communications, in-house or agency. You are disciplined, yet flexible - you are able and willing to embrace a hybrid working environment.

You’ve worked on multiple projects at once, but you know that the devil is in the details, and you are ready to prove your work in a way that makes it easy for your audience to understand. You are prepared to earn influence.

You understand what you need to ascertain in order to build the right messages, story flow, and how to differentiate that story regardless of the medium or channel (i.e., all-company meetings, Slack, newsletters, intranet).

You are a self-starter, you are accountable. You are a no-friction team member and are prepared to partner across the business and develop and strengthen partnerships with other teams. You work collaboratively with teammates and peers across departments to deliver the best quality work. You model what great looks like while having the humility to have your ideas challenged and stress tested. You are comfortable working with senior leaders – in this role, you will be doing that often. You excel at devising communications plans beyond written memos, and you understand the importance of a varied communications approach.

Reports into: VP of Communications (based in Washington D.C.)

Your Next Challenge:

    • Work closely with Principal of Enterprise Knowledge Management to enable change management in internal communications, dissemination of information, and flexibility in altering communications approach, given the full transition to a hybrid workforce.
    • Apply change management processes and tools to create strategies that support the adoption of high-impact business changes required by strategic initiatives.
    • Develop and execute proactive and strategic internal communication in partnership with the Getty Images leadership team, primarily the Chief People Officer, SVP of Global Content, CTO, CMO, and CEO.
    • Serve as a trusted liaison for multiple, sophisticated business units, providing counsel to project teams and executive leaders.
    • Craft campaigns that bring together communications across numerous company-wide projects, helping messages to land and be absorbed effectively. Sharpen the focus of internal information and messages.
    • Create communications vehicles that curate and cultivate Getty Images culture for a global employee base.
    • Evaluate and measure the impact of internal communication and engagement strategies to identify knowledge and awareness gaps.
    • Design and deliver impactful engagement opportunities, such as webinars, roadshows, and all company meetings to maximize the adoption of change.

What You'll Need:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in comparable internal/corporate communications for a multi-national, creative, media, or communications agency,
    • Experience designing and delivering change-related communications and engagement to a global workforce, as well as counseling senior organizational leaders.
    • Ability to see the big picture, shape messages, and transform complex ideas into accessible, reader-friendly communications.
    • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
    • Highly collaborative style; positive attitude; strong work ethic grounded in honesty and integrity.
    • Ability to work seamlessly with a hybrid team.
    • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in using and innovating both digital and traditional internal channels to create impactful communications that drive awareness and engagement and internal social networks.
    • Experience with managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously.
    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills – annual report or investor experience a plus.

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience working with a company during its journey to becoming publicly listed is a plus.
