Are you an accomplished Product Designer looking for your next challenge? If you thrive on close collaboration with cross-functional teams, relishing the opportunity to bring the customer perspective into team reviews and discussions - then this opportunity is for you! In this role, you'll draw on all aspects of your design skills as you shift between product design, interaction design, and visual design projects. And you’ll help elevate your team’s work by engaging in regular, constructive critiques as you iterate and collaborate on defining the best possible solution. We're seeking a confident designer who backs up design decisions with well thought-out rationale and is just as comfortable leading projects as they are supporting them.
Your Next Challenge
- Oversees the creation of assigned design deliverables for small to large scale projects.
- Able to lead stakeholder meetings and capture necessary information during the collaborative design/research/development project lifecycle.
- Strong on follow through both with design deliverables and communication, reporting and visibility to managers and stakeholders at all times.
- A proven track record of creating strong brand experiences with a focus on visual expertise is a must.
- Mentors and models to the other design staff how to best keep management and stakeholders well-informed of project status and direction.
- Translates business priorities and user needs into behavioral interaction models.
- Can logically articulate the pros and cons for a design on the fly.
- Creates detailed visual designs for interactive features and page layouts.
- Assists developers and product owners in implementing design proposals into releasable working code.
- 7 years Design experience in product design.
- Senior level individual contributor/lead design skills.
- Ability to make wise choices regarding proposals that add value while staying “in scope.”
- Facilitate working meetings with business stakeholders to identify business objectives & requirements all of sorts
- Can accurately estimate resource requirements and design risk.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of the visual language across the sites.
- Ensures that proper communication is maintained within project teams to ensure design expectations are understood, client objectives are achieved, & design deadlines are met.
- Contributes to advancing our design process, shared knowledge, and help to evolve the team over time.
